I want a clock

Why is it I can't have a clock? I need to know what time it is, but my wife has a problem with clocks. I don't get it.

"Are you going to go pick up Becky?" she asks. "It's 3:30 isn't it?"

I say, "How am I supposed to know? There aren't any clocks."

I'm getting a clock.
